Community rules
Last updated: 6 November 2026
In short
Play to win, play fair, and treat the player at the other end the way you would on a real ground. Cheating and abuse get accounts suspended or closed.
Who these rules are for
These rules apply to everyone who plays NPL Cricket League online and to our community channels. They are part of our terms of use (nplcricket.app/terms).
Play fair
- no cheats, hacks, bots, modified versions of the game or tools that give an unfair advantage;
- no exploiting bugs: tell us about them instead;
- no losing on purpose, no arranged results and no boosting another account;
- no leaving matches again and again to spoil them for others;
- one account per player, and no playing on someone else's account.
Respect other players
- no harassment, threats, bullying or stalking;
- no hate or insults about anyone's caste, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, region or nationality;
- no sexual content and no sexual advances;
- no praising or encouraging violence or self-harm;
- banter is part of cricket. Abuse is not.
Usernames, chat and emotes
- choose a username that is not offensive and does not pretend to be a real player, a team, a brand or our staff;
- no spam, advertising or links;
- do not ask for, or share, personal details such as phone numbers, addresses or passwords;
- do not try to get round the chat filter.
Keep everyone safe
Anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child is banned completely and is reported to the authorities: see our child safety standards (nplcricket.app/child-safety).
No betting on matches, no selling accounts and no asking other players for money.
If someone breaks the rules
Tap the player in the lobby and choose Report. You can also mute them, so you no longer see their chat, or block them, so they can no longer find you, invite you or share a lobby with you. The captain of a lobby can remove a player from it. You can also write to us at info@lacspace.com: the username, when it happened and what happened.
What we do
A person reviews reports. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn the player, change a username, limit chat, suspend the account for a time or close it for good. Cheating and serious abuse can mean a closed account the first time.
If your account was restricted and you think we got it wrong, write to info@lacspace.com and a different person will look at it.
