Child safety standards

Last updated: 6 November 2026

In short

NPL Cricket League has zero tolerance for the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. Any content or behaviour of that kind is banned, the account is closed, and we report it to the authorities. If you see something, tell us at once.

01Our commitment

These are the published standards of Lacspace Corporation Private Limited ("Lacspace"), the developer of NPL Cricket League, against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). They apply to everyone who uses the game, and to our own staff.

A child means anyone under 18. The game is for players aged 13 and over, and it is built to keep contact between strangers limited: there are no private messages, no photo, video or voice sharing, and lobby chat is short, filtered and not saved.

02What is banned

The following are never allowed in usernames, chat, emotes or anywhere else in the game or our community channels:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawings, links to it and requests for it;
  • sexual talk with a child or about a child, or sexualising a child in any way;
  • grooming: building a relationship with a child in order to abuse or exploit them, including asking a child to keep secrets or to move to another app;
  • asking a child for personal details, photos, their location or a meeting;
  • sextortion, threats or blackmail aimed at a child;
  • trafficking, or any other exploitation or endangerment of a child;
  • praising, excusing or joking about any of the above.

03How to report

If you see anything in the game that worries you about a child's safety, report it at once. In the game, tap the player in the lobby, choose Report and pick Child safety. These reports are marked urgent, and the player is not told who reported them.

You can also write to info@lacspace.com with the subject "Child safety", or call +977 981-7785629. Tell us the username involved, when it happened and what you saw. Please do not forward abusive images to us or to anyone else: describe them instead.

You can also block the player straight away, so they can no longer find you, invite you or share a lobby with you.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police first. In Nepal, call the police on 100 or the child helpline on 1098.

04What we do with a report

A person at Lacspace reviews every child safety report, and these reports go ahead of all other work. When a report is confirmed, we:

  • remove the content and close the account, with no warning and no second chance;
  • keep the evidence securely for the authorities, and nowhere else;
  • report it to the police in Nepal and to the relevant national or international authorities, as the law requires;
  • tell the person who reported it that we have acted, without sharing private details.

05How the game is built to protect young players

  • no private one-to-one messages, and no sharing of photos, videos, voice or links;
  • lobby chat limited to 80 letters, slowed down, filtered for abusive words and not saved;
  • usernames checked before they are accepted;
  • your email address is never shown to other players;
  • you choose who can join your lobby: only people you invite, only friends, or anyone;
  • you can mute, block or report any player, and the captain of a lobby can remove a player from it;
  • no advertising, and no collection of contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone.

06Parents and guardians

Players aged 13 to 17 need your permission to play. We suggest you look at the game together, agree who your child plays with, and show them how to block and report a player and how to tell you if something feels wrong.

You can ask us what data we hold about your child, or ask us to delete their account, at info@lacspace.com. See also nplcricket.app/delete-account and nplcricket.app/privacy.

07Following the law

We follow the child protection laws of Nepal and the child safety policies of Google Play and the App Store, and we cooperate with law enforcement on any investigation involving the safety of a child.
