Line and length
Every delivery has a line (off, middle, leg, wide) and a length (yorker, full, good, short). Spot it early: a full ball wants to be driven, a short one pulled or left.
The Game · In development
NPL Cricket League is built around the duel between bat and ball. Read the delivery, pick your shot, time it, and run hard. Or bowl to a plan and set the field to match. Here is how it plays.

Batting
The bowler's marker shows you where the ball is heading a moment before it pitches. What you do next decides whether it's a dot, a single or a six.
Timing window
Every delivery has a line (off, middle, leg, wide) and a length (yorker, full, good, short). Spot it early: a full ball wants to be driven, a short one pulled or left.
Swipe where you want the ball to go: straight down the ground, through the covers, square or fine. Swipe length sets how hard you hit it, from a soft push to a full swing.
Each shot has a window as the ball reaches the bat. Perfect timing finds the middle of the bat; early or late finds the edge, the air or the stumps.
Get forward to full balls and back to short ones. The right foot widens your timing window; the wrong one shrinks it and invites a mistake.
Call yes, no or wait for every run. Your partner responds, fielders chase, and a tight second run can end in a run-out at the bowler's end.
Bowling
Choose your delivery, find your rhythm in the run-up, and land it exactly where you aimed. Then shape the field around the batter.
Pace
Raw speed, bouncers and yorkers. Hurry the batter and cramp their timing.
Swing
Move it in the air, late, into or away from the bat. Beat the outside edge.
Cut
Roll the fingers over the seam to slow it down and make it grip off the pitch.
Spin
Off spin, leg spin and the googly. Flight, drift and turn for the patient bowler.
Every delivery, in three moves
Tap in time with the run-up. A smooth rhythm adds pace and accuracy; a stumble costs both.
Drag the marker onto the pitch. Hit your spot and the ball does what you planned.
Choose an attacking, balanced or defensive field, or drag fielders yourself: slips for swing, deep men for the death overs.
Fielding
Fielding is part of the contest, not a cutscene. Fielders react to the ball, and quick taps at the right time turn chances into wickets.
Tap as the ball passes to dive and stop a certain boundary. Mistime it and the ball runs away.
Pick the end and throw. A direct hit at the stumps can run out a batter who took one run too many.
High catches give you a moment to settle under the ball. Edges to the slips are over in a blink.
Takes the ball cleanly, whips the bails off for stumpings and backs up every throw.
Presentation
The match is framed the way you see cricket on TV, so every ball looks and feels like a real night match.
The classic view from behind the bowler, with cuts to the batter, the fielder and the crowd.
Wickets and boundaries come back as replays from new angles.
LBW reviews trace the ball's path: pitching, impact, and whether it would have hit the stumps.
Four, six, wide, no-ball, out. The umpire gives every decision the way you know it.
Score, overs, run rate and the target in a clean scorebug, plus player cards between balls.
Every delivery is clocked, so you know when your quick bowler is really flying.

How a ball is decided
Our server decides every ball. Your phone sends what you did, the server works out what happened, and both players see exactly the same result.
1 / 3
Your shot, swipe and timing, or your delivery, target and rhythm, go to the server.
2 / 3
The server weighs line, length, timing, footwork and player skill, then decides the outcome.
3 / 3
The same ball, the same shot and the same result play out on both phones at once.
No phone can decide its own score, so results stay fair.
